Last Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Judy & Jon’s wedding at the Antrim 1844 and Smokehouse Restaurant.  When Judy contacted me, she said that she was having an intimate affair and didn’t want a big “to do”.  I think that some photographers would be and are, disappointed when they are contracted for low key events.  However, that was not the case here! I think that many times, both brides and photographers get all caught up in the details, decor, and having everything “just right”, and forget what a wedding is supposed to be about.  Judy & Jon’s wedding was a refreshing reminder that all you need to have a beautiful wedding and celebration are two people who are in love and your closest family & friends.  Everything else really doesn’t matter.  Judy & Jon, thank you for having me be a part of your special day.  You are both amazing people and I wish you and the kids all of the best!
