THE DETAILS:

Contest is open to children ages 3 months to 12 years of age.  Anyone can enter – there is no need to be an existing client!

By submitting your child’s photo, you grant me permission to post it here, on my public blog.  Photo submissions must be of your child(ren) and CAN NOT be a professional photo from another photographer.  Photos can be of a single child or of siblings (up to 4 total).   Only one entry per person/ family is permitted.

To enter, email your photo to: info@amylingphotography.com with “Photo Contest” in the subject. 

Photos will be posted here on the blog, the evening that they are received.  Voting (details below) may begin immediately, so be sure to get those pictures in right away!

PRIZES:

A total of 3 prizes will be awarded, in addition to a consolation prize for EACH entrant!

1st Place: Choice of a FREE Simplicity Session (a 20 minute session for your child, complete with 5 digital files – $295 value), OR a full Signature Session with no session fee and a $95 print credit (minimum order will apply).

2nd Place: 50% off of a Simplicity Session and a free 11x 14 portrait ($250 value)

3rd Place: $50 Gift Certificate to Amy Ling Photography (can be redeemed at anytime)

***All entrants (including winners) will receive a $50 credit towards a 2012 session!***

WAYS TO WIN:

1. Because all kids are equally cute (well not really – but because all parents think their kid is the cutest), the 1st place prize will be a random drawing!

2. The 2nd place prize will be based on votes.  Each photo entry will be posted here on the blog and voting may begin immediately.   To vote, send your friends and family here to comment on the blog post with your child’s photo.  The photo with the highest number of votes will win the 2nd place prize.  PLEASE, only ONE vote per person!  Multiple comments from the same person/ email/ IP address will not be counted.

3. To win the 3rd place prize, you’ll have to do some extra credit!  Participants can receive up to 2 entries for another random drawing.  To enter:

1 – Post the following as your status on facebook (and be sure to use the @ symbol to tag my page so that I can see your comment and record your entry):  “I just entered my kid(s) in a photo contest at @Amy Ling Photography!  Visit her page for details!”

2 – Head over to my boards on Pinterest.com and repin THIS photo to one of your boards.  If you do not have a Pinterest account, simply send me a message and I’ll invite you!

OFFICIAL RULES (please read):

Entries MUST be received by 2/11/12.  The 1st place winner will be selected at random and announced on 2/12/12.  Voting for 2nd place will close on 2/16/12 at 10pm.  Winners for the 2nd & 3rd place prizes will be announced on 2/12/17.  The 3rd place winner will be selected at random from the entries received for the “extra credit” option (#3) described above.

It is not required to have people vote or to do the “extra credit” entries described above.

For the 1st & 2nd place prizes, sessions must take place NO LATER than 7/31/12.  If a session is not scheduled and completed by this date, the prizes will be forfeit.

Prizes CAN NOT be applied to a previously booked session and will NOT count towards sessions included in the “Watch Me Grow” plan.

Prizes CAN be combined with referral bonuses, VIP Rewards and/ or other gift certificates with a monetary value.

All entrants will receive a $50 credit towards a session booked in 2012.  Both Signature and Simplicity sessions apply (please contact Amy for a full price list and complete details).  Credits will be void if not redeemed by 11/30/12.  All entrants may begin redeeming certificates AFTER the contest ends on 2/17/12.

YES, it is technically possible for one single entrant to win ALL 3 prizes!
