A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Jessica and David’s intimate wedding on Pier 5 in Baltimore. It was a bit chilly and cloudy outside with rain in the forecast but luckily, the rain held off! Their day turned out to be absolutely wonderful! After the ceremony, they celebrated with cocktails at McCormick & Schmick’s and then dinner with their guests in the Dolphin Viewing Room and the National Aquarium! I absolutely loved all of the little nautical touches…from Jessica’s bouquet to the table names. Congratulations Jess & David!
Megan and Tyler are by far one of the sweetest, most genuine couples you will ever meet. After our very first meeting, I knew I’d love working with them and the time we spent during their engagement session earlier this year just confirmed that. Their wedding was this past Saturday at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Stevensville, MD. I was so excited to photograph a wedding right on the water and had big ideas for wedding portraits outside and on the beach….but then, it rained….all day. Everyone was just a little bummed that the ceremony and photos had to be moved inside but as the ceremony time approached, the rain was no longer a concern. The entire day was so full of love and excitement that the rain didn’t seem to matter. With such a beautiful venue and an extremely happy couple, the photos turned out beautiful. Once again, this was a reminder to me that while they help, you really don’t need a pretty setting, amazing light or picture perfect details to make a stunning wedding image. The most important thing is genuine emotion and Megan & Tyler’s photos are filled with it! The rain did stop just in time to catch the sunset which was an added bonus! Megan & Tyler, thank you so much for having me be a part of your special day. It has been such a pleasure working with you both!
Last Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Judy & Jon’s wedding at the Antrim 1844 and Smokehouse Restaurant. When Judy contacted me, she said that she was having an intimate affair and didn’t want a big “to do”. I think that some photographers would be and are, disappointed when they are contracted for low key events. However, that was not the case here! I think that many times, both brides and photographers get all caught up in the details, decor, and having everything “just right”, and forget what a wedding is supposed to be about. Judy & Jon’s wedding was a refreshing reminder that all you need to have a beautiful wedding and celebration are two people who are in love and your closest family & friends. Everything else really doesn’t matter. Judy & Jon, thank you for having me be a part of your special day. You are both amazing people and I wish you and the kids all of the best!
Katie contacted me earlier this year in search of a wedding photographer and after meeting she and Matt, I just KNEW their wedding would be a blast! They were married this past Sunday at the Antrim 1844 in Taneytown, Maryland. As a photographer, I could not have asked for a more perfect day! A sweet and gorgeous couple, an amazing venue, perfect weather and perfect light, good company and the BEST band ever, make for a very easy day :). I have a TON of images to share, so I’ll get right to it. Katie & Matt, thanks so much for allowing me to capture your big day! I hope you have a wonderful time in Hawaii!
After our recent weeks of crazy weather and evenings filled with thunderstorms, I was a little nervous about how the day would be for Courtney & Johns wedding last Saturday. Turns out, I had nothing to be worried about. It was an absolutely gorgeous day! Courtney and John were married at Loyola University Alumni Chapel in Baltimore and their reception was held at Peerce’s Landing in Phoenix. I had a great time hanging with Courtney and her girls before the ceremony and an equally as nice time at their reception watching everyone party it up Courtney and John, it was such a pleasure to be a part of your big day and I wish you all of the best!
